Evelyn L. (nee Wood), beloved wife of 68 years of Homer D. Besco; devoted mother of Anna McDaniel and Thomas (the late Anita) Besco; dear grandmother of Jeffrey (Beth) McDaniel, Brian McDaniel (Drew Hester), Stephanie (Todd) Carll, Michael (Kelly) Besco, and Sarah (Mike) Laake and great grandmother of 9. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the age of 89. Visitation will take place at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 2 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Brecon United Methodist Church.
