ARMYWWII CLARKEmily (nee Athens). Beloved wife of the late James O. Clark. Devoted mother of the late Janis E. Poppy. Special friend of the late Fred Greenham. Dearest friend of Tom and Jo Smith who acted as loving caregivers. Caring sister-in-law of Marian (the late William) Athens. Cherished aunt of Jim (Mary), Bill (Brenda), and Geoffrey (Pamela) Athens, and Cindy Selig, and great aunt to several. Passed away March 18, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Emily was a member of the VFW for 60 years. She recently achieved 65 years of continuous membership in The American Legion and was Past Commander of the Greater Cincinnati Women's Post 644. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH, Monday, March 22, 2010 from 11:30 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM.
