HUSTElmer George, beloved husband of the late LaVerne Marie (nee Guckiean) for 62 years; loving father of Debi (Chris) Allison, Don (Darlene) Hust, and Julie Hust; cherished grandfather of Amy, Ashley, and Eric Hust; Brian, Scott and Drew Allison; son of Charles and Anna (nee Mader) Hust; brother of the late Virginia (Will) Lusk, Calvin Adams, and Gertrude Cirrincione. Most recently a resident of Maple Knoll Village; formerly Brentwood Village for 46 years. Passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, age 86. Retired executive, Sheet Metal Workers' International Association Local #141/24; Pension Fund founding Trustee, Secretary-Treasurer, Chair. Supervised construction jobs including CVG airport, Beckjord Power Plant, Riverfront Coliseum, Finneytown Schools, and Miami University. Past Grand Master, Masonic Lodge Winton #141 (1968, 1975) and member, Norwood-Winton-Carthage #576. Volunteer, Brentwood Village Civic Association, Finneytown Athletic Northern Hills Firefighter Association, and Maple Knoll residents' council. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Monday, March 26, 2012 from 5 PM until Masonic service at 7 PM. Funeral service Tuesday, March 27 at 10:30 AM, Maple Knoll Chapel, 11100 Springfield Pike. Entombment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati or Maple Knoll Village Future Care Fund.
