Elinor Atkinson

ATKINSONElinor A., 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio died unexpectedly Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Fairfield Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio. Born in Athens December 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Glenn L. and Carrie Harris Atkinson. She was a 1955 graduate of Athens High School and attended Ohio University. She was employed by the Ohio University Registrar's Office and 1963-1994 the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. and Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Charles R. and Marcia Atkinson of Cincinnati; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and William Lanning of Eva, Tennessee; a good friend, Bonita Mathews of Cincinnati; several nieces, nephews, and many loving friends that were like family. A short graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Cincinnati, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. Dale Wilkey officiating.
