Dr. Charles G., PhD "Charlie" passed away peacefully on July 18, 2015 at age 97. Beloved husband of the late Athelene Goebel (nee Evans); devoted father of Linda (David) Russell, Charles E. "Chuck" (Diane) Goebel, and Julie Goebel; loving grandfather of Sarah, Jessica, Megan, Anna, Michael Charles, Matthew, Michele, and Melissa "Mitzi"; great grandfather of Aidan Charles, Catherine "Cate", Charlotte "Little Charlie", and Parker Charles; longtime friend of Peggy Collier. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:30 PM.
