UNITED STATES ARMY KOREAN WAR VETERAN

SCRANTON, Donald S. Beloved husband of 63 years to the late Gladys (nee Ashley) Scranton. Devoted father of Tony (Felicia) Scranton, Leah Scranton and the late Michael Scranton. Loving grandfather of 3. Great grandfather of 2. Oldest of 14 siblings, 8 of which are still remaining. Dear son of the late Alice L. (nee Hillard) Sowder Schierloh, Arthur Sowder, and Don Scranton.

Donald loved to sing! He sang in many quartets and the choir at church. He was also a season ticket holder for many, many years for both the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals. Donald was a member of the Syrian Shrine and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry both for 50 years.

Donald passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 89 years.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Lockland Christian Church, 231 Mill St., Lockland, OH 45215 from 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am.

Masks are required and social distancing is requested.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
