BEHMDon L., Sr. Born March 27, 1941, Seaman, OH to Carl and Helen Behm.Don L., beloved husband of Jane (nee Ralston) Behm, loving father of Michelle (Steve) Betz, and son Don (Tamela) Behm II, grandfather of Madison Erica Behm, Carl Henry Behm, Jillian Elizabeth Betz, Ethan Samuel Behm, and Jack Steven Betz, dear brother of John (Shirley) Behm, devoted son-in-law of Dorothy Ralston, survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as nieces and nephews, preceded in death by daughters Donna Jane Behm and Erica Lynn Behm. August 23, 2011, age 70, residence Sharonville, Ohio.Don Behm was a teacher and spent his life in education. He was a graduate of Morehead College and Xavier University. He taught in the Sycamore School District from 1963-1970. He was an Assistant Principal before serving as Business Manager for seventeen years in the Finneytown Local School District. He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid Boy Scout as a young man and later as an adult leader. He loved his wife Jane of fifty years, children Don and Michelle, and their spouses Tamela and Steve. Don spent his later years enjoying time with his five grandchildren in his home. He loved to tell stories and share his life experiences with friends and family. Memorial service Saturday, August 27, 2011, Springdale Church of the Nazarene, 11177 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Visitation from 10 AM-12 Noon, Funeral service at 12 Noon, and Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Springdale, Ohio. Memorials in lieu of flowers to American Diabetes Association and Boy Scouts of America, Dan Beard Council.
