David L., beloved husband of 28 years of Billie (nee Pennington) Harris; devoted father of Jessica Harris and Nikki (Art) Barger; loving Poppy of Nathan, Luke, Nicole, A.J., and Ellie; dear son of the late Milford and Kathleen Harris and son-in-law of Billy and the late Evelyn Pennington; brother of Charlene (Tom) Stacey and Elizabeth Harris. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and was the president of the UAW Local 674. Passed away on June 27, 2014 at the age of 58. Visitation will take place at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service will be on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 12:00 NOON at the funeral home.
