Charles, born in Salina, Kansas, passed on March 30, 1914 at age 93. Beloved husband of Celia Delgado-Cordero; devoted father of Corinne and Luzanne Cordero; dear grandfather of Amy (Jesse) Reiter and proud of great grandsons; Tyler, Kristen, and Leland Reiter. Resident of Chicago, Ilinois, 1937-1974 with transfer to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1974. Career in international sales with various companies, including Trailmobile in Chicago and Michelman Inc. in Cincinnati. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific zone on the Aircraft Carrier, USS Natoma Bay and awarded a Presidential Unit Citation. Later on the USS Bremerton in the Atlantic zone. Visitation at St. John Neumann Church, 12191 Mill Road, Forest Park, OH. Friday, April 4, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road in Montgomery.
