Carolyn Blair Salvato

Springdale – Carolyn Salvato passed away peacefully in her home on June 7, 2022 at age 101. She was the wife of the late Tony Salvato for 65 years. Carolyn is survived by her children – Vince Salvato (Sunny); Sara Horan (Tom); Joe Salvato (Diane) and Marti Salvato (Danny Burns) and their children and their grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and close friends from the Springdale Presbyterian Church and Springdale School. Carolyn taught in the Princeton School District, mainly 4 ^th and 6 ^th grades at the Springdale Elementary School. She was an avid reader, bridge player, traveler and watcher of the birds which kept her company in her later years at her many bird feeders. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at the Vorhis Funeral Home in Springdale on June 28 ^th between 4 and 6. She will be buried next to Tony in a private service at the Lexington Cemetery at 1:00 on June 29 ^th .
