Carolyn Ruble

RUBLECarolyn S. Ruble (Talapa) (nee Stecca), age 72, of Cincinnati, passed away on March 2, 2012. Daughter to the late Lawrence Stecca and the late Josephine Ragula, she was born in Cleveland where she attended high school. She came to Cincinnati and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Christ Hospital Nursing School. After working in hospitals and for a pediatrician, she settled into a career as an industrial nurse. After retirement, she continued to volunteer at area hospitals. She was passionate about making a difference in the life of others. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Carl Ruble. She was also married to the late Robert Talapa for 34 years. Devoted mother to (3) children; Mary Schaaf, Betty Purcell and Larry Talapa. Cherished grandmother to Danielle, Jessica and Tyler Schaaf, Michael and Luke Purcell, Abigail and Emily Talapa. Also survived by her brother, Eugene Stecca and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at her parish, Community of the Good Shepherd at 8815 E.Kemper Rd. 45249 on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10:00 am.
