Carolyn Sue Craig

CRAIG, Carolyn Sue. (née Hunkler). “Sissy”. Born Aug 27, 1948 and passed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 76. 

Carolyn was a homemaker for the majority of her life. Widow of the late Ronald Willis Craig Sr. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Alberta Hunkler. She is survived by sisters, Marty Stanelle and Bonita Wilson; as well as brothers, James and Irvin Hunkler. She was the beloved mother of 3 children and their spouses; Carolyn Sue Britt (Craig) and her husband Mike, Ronald Willis Craig Jr., and Donald James Craig and his late wife Bobbi (Connolly), and stepdaughter Tamera Renee Williams (Simonson). She was the grandmother “Mamaw” of Mark Allen Wilson Jr and his wife Denise (Schmidl), Faith Ann Wilson and her husband Jamon Williams, Jessica Lynn Clark (Wilson) and her husband James, Ian Scott Britt, Brandi Gutzwiller (Yates) and her husband Charles, Brennen Mikel Britt, Kaleb Lewis Britt and wife Alex, Arial Nicole Craig, Miranda Lei Andromeda Craig, Selena Marie Craig, and Donald James Craig Jr., and step grandchildren of Mary Christine Yeary (Bingham) and her husband Adam, and the late Cheyenne Leree Carter (Williams) and her widow Austin, She leaves behind 17 great grandchildren, Jamerra Kamajae Williams, Devon LaMonta Williams, Declan Lee Nye, Aiden Daniel Yeary, Emily Rose Carter, Jaelynn Sue Nye, Alex Doyle Yeary, Charles Edward Gutzwiller Jr., Robert Gutzwiller, Jamison Marie Clark, Harmony Faith Williams, Ashton Tyler Yeary, Lilly Grace Carter, and Bjorn Joseph Wilson. Raelynn Ann Clark, Kyra Jane Wilson, Ozwald Michael Britt. Carolyn also leaves behind many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and what we all call extended family, that although they were not blood related, they called her Mom, Aunt, or Mamaw because she treated them just like they were his child, niece, nephew or grandchild. This list of extended family is far too many to list, but they know she couldn't have loved them more.

Friends may greet the family at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 310 Dunn St., Lockland, OH 45215 on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 11 AM until time of service at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
