SIEMER, Carl Roland. Beloved husband of the late Ruth J. (nee Neuhaus) Siemer. Devoted father of Dale Roland Siemer, Wayne Edward (Mary Catherine) Siemer, and Amy Siemer (Joseph Anthony) O’Neill. Loving grandfather of Dale Tateman "Tate" Siemer, Matthew Hines Siemer, Jennifer Siemer Pingel, Jay Edward Siemer, Nathan Ehlen Siemer, Samuel Wayne Siemer, Brian Joseph O’Neill, Laura Katherine O’Neill, and Ensign Paul Michael O’Neill. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Eugene Siemer and the late Jack Siemer.

Carl passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the age of 98 years.

Friends may greet the family at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 10am until time of service at 11am. Graveside service will immediately follow at 1pm at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Rd., Evendale, OH 45241. There will be a reception at 3pm; location will be announced after services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G Komen Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Last night, our family lost our Grampa, Dad, Brother, and the world lost a good friend.

I will dearly miss this joyful, funny, handsome man.

One of my earliest memories of him is him busting out a headstand in his living room, which must be where I got my love for yoga.

He was a consistent example of humility, joy, and gratitude.

He was a shameless (but respectful) flirt, a ham, and a delight to be around.

He loved his country and flew planes in WWII.

98 years of a life well-lived, Grampa! Well done, young man. I miss you already.
