Bonita Westendorf

WESTENDORF, Bonita (nee Kappes). Beloved wife of the late Ralph F. Westendorf. Devoted mother of Mark (Cheryl) Westendorf, Brian (Yvonne Whitehead) Westendorf, Jane (Paul Humphries) Frances, Glenn Westendorf, Elaine (Joe) Ross, and Kevin (Trudi) Westendorf. Loving grandmother of Chris Westendorf, Adam Phelps, Kristen (John) Otto, Bradley (Stephanie) Westendorf, Derek Westendorf, Eric (Connor) Ashton, Sarah (James) Whitney, Rebecca (Kevin Hansen) Ashton, Amber Triphahn, Glenn Westendorf Jr., Jennifer (Tom) Hennessy, Randy (Emily) Westendorf, Spencer Ross, Lila Ross, Ethan Westendorf, and Lucy Westendorf. Great grandmother of Ava, Ella, and Evan Otto; Alexandra and Max Westendorf; Parker and William Westendorf; Kira and Haidyn Christensen; Corbin Whitney; Louise Hennessy; Madeline, Julia and, Peter Westendorf; and Scarlett Ashton. Dear sister of Dolores Kappes; and the late Alan (Pauline) Kappes, and Leo (Pauletta) Kappes. Also preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rose (nee Moster) Kappes.

Bonita passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at age 87 years.

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5-7 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Rd., Springfield Twp, OH 45231 on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:30 AM.
