Beverly Thurner

THURNER, Beverly Jean. (nee Sherrow). Age 76 years. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Jean Sherrow; her husband of 43 years, Andrew Thurner, Sr.; her brother, John Sherrow; and her son David Thurner. Loving mother of Guff (Keri) Thurner, Andy (Deb) Thurner, Tammy (Kevin) Smith, Jessica (Charlie) Thurner; step daughter, Diana Thurner; and adopted Shelley (Bobbie) Gillespie. Mother-in-law of Angie Thurner. Loving grandmother of David (Samantha) Thurner, Sammie Brewer, Jennifer (Justin) Mitchell, Tommy (Paige) Smith, Nathan Crabtree, Jesslyn McIntosh, Conner & Brayden Brunner, Chris Ogden, Morgan (Mark) Reed; and Amanda (Steve) Meadows. Loving great grandmother "GG" of Chase Haas, Andie Thurner, Rhylee & Ryan Mitchell, Carson Thurner; and Emme Meadows. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bev had a strong will to live life to the fullest and had that nurturing love that showed through her smile, laughter and cooking. She was devoted to her family and friends and loved spending time with all of them. She used all her energy and love into raising her children and all that walked into her home and Camp Turnabout. She had a heart of gold. Her kitchen was never closed even if you were not hungry. Bev will always be remembered as a loving, caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, GG, and friend.

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11am. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Hamilton, P.O.
