Betty Howard

Betty Marie (nee Durham) Howard, passed away at Hospice in Blue Ash on June 10, 2020, at age 87. She was born in Mason, Kentucky on December 17, 1932. She married Horace G. Howard on Christmas Eve, 1953. They settled in Norwood where they lived their entire married life. Betty went back to school later in life and became a hairdresser. She operated a shop out of her house for many years. Betty found pleasure in helping and visiting senior citizens of the church and volunteering in anywhere needed there.

Betty loved her family and will forever be known for her homecooked green beans. She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughters, Debra (the late Douglas) Muchmore and Judy (Michael) Craynon. Also 5 grandchildren; Abby (Michael) Butler, Sarah (Andy) Zumbrum, Tim (Bethany) Muchmore, Lena (Justin) Williamson, and Aimee (Andrew) Bates. She also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 2400 Norwood Ave., Norwood, OH 45212. Time of visitation will be from 10am - time of service to immediately follow at 12 noon. Burial will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2 pm at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Corinth, KY.
