Beatrice Ruth Lea

Beatrice Ruth Lea (Nee Armacost), 109, passed away on August 1, 2023.  Loving mother of Jean (Ray) Taylor of Mill Valley, CA, and Ida (the late Bob) Scherer of West Chester, OH.  She was the oldest of 9 (5 girls and 4 boys).  She is survived by a sister, Phyllis (the late Chester) Lenik of Cody, WY and brother, Donald (Evelyn) Armacost of Las Vegas, NV.  Matriarch of 5 generations!  She had four grandchildren, Jeff (Amy) Taylor of Mill Valley, CA; Stephanie (Bill) Boland of Kaneohe, HI, Steven (Susan) Scherer of Lafayette, IN; Mark (Andrea) Scherer of West Chester, OH.  She also had 9 great grand-children and 4 great-great grand-children.  She was an active resident at Maple Knoll Village for 26 years.  A memorial service will be held in the Maple Knoll Village Chapel, 11100 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246, on Friday August 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Following the Memorial Service refreshments will be served in the Auditorium.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bea’s memory to Maple Knoll Future Care Fund, 11100 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246 or a donation of your choice.
