Arthur "Art" D., PhD., beloved husband of Dottie Sill; former husband of the late Grace Sill; devoted father of Barb (the late Eric) Woods, Jim (Marti) Sill, and Bob (Julie) Sill; step-father of Barb Melloh, Colleen (Ron, DDS) Discher, and Doug (Mary) Melloh; loving grandfather of Brian (Beth), Kyle, Katelyn (Josh), Allison, Brooke, Jessica (Jason), and the late Scott, Ryan, and Ian; great grandfather of Morgan, Eric, and Carter; dear brother of the late Bea Quinette. March 3, 2016. Age 94. Art proudly served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was an active trumpet player in the Ohio Military Band, Grotto, and several other bands. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM.
