Anthony Policastro

POLICASTROAnthony E., beloved husband of Joan (nee Burg) Policastro for 41 years; loving father of Dr. Michael A. (Erika) Policastro and Joseph A. (Marie Clarke-Doane) Policastro, cherished grandfather "Pop" of Andrew, Elena, and Ava Policastro; adored brother of the late Joan T. Policastro; dear brother-in-law of Barbara (the late Paul) Kramer, Judy (Frank) Hauer, and Lisa (Don) Neyer; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews; devoted son-in-law of the late Jerry and Virginia Burg. Also survived by numerous outstanding and supportive friends. Passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the age of 66 years. Tony served in the United States Navy from 1965-1971. He was a dedicated co-owner of Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Homes. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Additional visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25 from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Mass of Eternal Rest at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 48 W. Sharon Rd., Glendale on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 12:00 Noon. Entombment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
