Anthony John Glassmeyer

Anthony John Glassmeyer passed away peacefully with family on May 11, 2023. Born on November 17, 1934, he was the youngest child of Stanley and Margaret (nee O’Connor) Glassmeyer’s seven children.  He was preceded in death by his wife Janet (Wagner) Glassmeyer, his parents, and siblings; Stanley, Vincent, Jean, Virginia, Michael, and Rosemary.

He is survived by his three sons; Tony (Marty), Andy (Sue), and Jim (Joan) and his four adoring grandchildren; Connor, Vinnie, Ruby and Sam, and his loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday May 19, 2023 with a visitation starting at 9:00am and a mass following at 10:00am at St. Matthias Church, 1050 W. Kemper Road, Forest Park, OH 45240.

Tony loved his family and friends. He had an avid interest in spending time outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature. You could often find him taking his grandchildren to the many parks in the area to give them adventures and opportunities to explore and learn. You would also find him attending his grandchildren’s various sporting events which he thoroughly enjoyed. In his animated cheering, you could hear him yell “Good One” to the players when they made a good play which led to him being nicknamed amongst his grandchildren’s friends as Goodone.

We wish him everlasting peace and love in his eternal rest.
