LINCOLN-BENZAnna Mae (nee Strunk), beloved wife of Fred Benz, former Assistant Fire Chief in Norwood and Fire Chief in Sycamore Township, and the late Dale Lincoln; loving mother of Sherry (Bill) Rasor and Suzette (Rich) Christensen and step-mother of Terry Benz; cherished grandmother of five; Annette Dill, Richie Christensen, Ian Christensen, Whitney Rasor, and Lisa Spahr; great grandmother of five; Katie Dill, Kayla Gatton, Aaron Dill, Aimee Dill, and Trenton Thuma; great-great grandmother of one; Travis Gatton; dear sister of Gene (Elsie) Strunk and the late Jack Strunk. Longtime resident of Montgomery. Anna and Fred spent much of their time riding bicycles together and traveled the length of the Little Miami bike trail from Milford to Yellow Springs over the years. Anna's beautiful smile will be sorely missed by all. The family would like to thank Ty Funk, Brenda Bridewell, Maggie Devereaux, and neighbor, Gene Ackerman for their loving care that allowed Anna to remain at home through her illness. Anna was able to pass at home with hospice support, surrounded by her family on July 17, 2011 at the age of 77. Visitation at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Montgomery, OH on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
