Alice Bales

BALESAlice (nee Wiseman). Beloved wife of the late Eldon Bales. Loving mother of Cathy Trusty. Cherished grandmother of Hollis Diann Trusty. Devoted aunt and second mom to Debra (Kevin) Overberg, Tim (Sharon) Grubb, Robin (Dennis) Prewitt, Jim (Cathy) Grubb, and Tommy (Julie) Grubb. Caring aunt and great aunt of many. Dear sister of Maudie Hicks of Georgia, Walter (Sue) Wiseman of Texas, Ollie (Roy) Grubb of Ohio, and Warden (Bernice) Wiseman of Ohio. Alice was fondly known to those close to her as "Tootsie". Went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2011 at age 80. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
