Alfred William Bach, Jr. or "Bill" as he preferred to be called, passed away on
Sunday, November 27, 2022
at age 77.
Bill graduated from Woodward High School and the Ohio College of Applied Science with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Oldfield Equipment Company after many years of faithful service and friendship.
In his youth, Bill loved to bowl. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling to "the country" and finding new covered bridges to cross as well as fishing. He was extremely artistic and spent his time painting in addition to designing and creating new stained glass pieces, including wall hangings, lamp shades and stepping stones. He enjoyed westerns and tales of the wild west, which can be seen as a theme throughout much of his art. He was a nature lover, with a fondness for birds and his numerous pet dogs. He had a big smile and an even bigger heart. Bill was a true fighter and beat many physical odds over the years.
Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents and his parents, Fay Marian Bach and Alfred William Bach, Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Jo, daughters Emily Engelhardt (Rick) and Joanna Kinsey (Mike) and grandchildren Ariel, Micah, Parker and Charlotte as well as a host of cousins and relatives he looked on with affection.
